Private Acting Coaching

I have been educating and directing young people for the last 10 years. I worked with Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre for four years, touring across the midwest teaching and directing over 8,000 young people. I recently taught classes with Youth Performance Company in St. Paul and work as a substitute teacher in the Minneapolis Public Schools system.

As a theatre educator, I believe that every young person has the ability to be onstage. All it takes is an understanding of the basics and a big imagination! Whether your young person is just getting started or has some experience under their belt, I have a coaching option that will take them to the next level.

In addition to assisting young people on their acting journey, I also offer coaching for adults. If you’re looking to perfect an audition package, zero in on certain techniques or just start a new hobby, I can help you feel prepared.

Policies and Guidelines

- I can travel to your location for in-person lessons. Otherwise, all lessons are virtual.
- Come prepared for each lesson with a writing utensil, notebook/paper and clothes that allow movement.
- If you are bringing in your own material, please send a copy to me at least 24 hours ahead of time.
- Please be as memorized as possible on any pieces you are bringing in.
- You must provide your own accompaniment/karaoke track for any songs you are bringing in.
- Cancellations/rescheduling must be done at least 12 hours before your scheduled lesson. Otherwise, you will be charged 50% of your lesson fee.
- No show policy: if you do not show up for your lessons within 15 minutes of your start time, your lesson will be considered a ‘no-show’ and you will be charged your full lesson fee.

I never want cost to be a barrier for any student. I am always open to discussing pricing options that work for you.
